Maybe you have had a feeling that something was about to occur and it did just that. It comes as a surprise to us when a hunch turns out to be true.

Intuition is basically a strong impression without fact or logic to back it up. There are three varieties of these impressions: Clairvoyance, sensing clearly and clairaudience.

Clairvoyance, or what we call 'the third eye', is seeing beyond what is there. You can 'see' that something is happening or about to happen even though you can't actually see it.

What we often refer to as 'a gut feeling' is sensing clearly. A gut feeling is when you just 'know' something even though you can't explain why. It is often an overwhelming feeling that can't be shaken.

Clairaudience is a kind of ability to hear things that aren't said directly. A little like auditory 'reading' between the lines. It can also be a type of intuition that is triggered by a certain sound, such as a bird's song or a bell ringing, that causes intense feelings.

It is believed that only a few people have such intuition. The Zodiac signs of Scorpio and Pisces are said by astrologers to be naturally gifted with intuition almost to the point of E.S.P. Studies are being conducted that could prove that anyone who wants to can work and develop a degree of intuition.

Intuition helps with a more creative expression and has the power to heal. It is not healing of the body but of the soul by getting rid of negative vibes within it.

1. Hypnosis - Try hypnosis, whether it is self-hypnosis or going to a trained hypnotherapist. This can aid in building your intuition.

2. Meditation - Finding peace within yourself is always positive and this leads to stronger intuition. Often, our minds get cluttered with old hurts and resentments. These hinder intuition. There are many methods of meditation. Yoga is a good place to start or even simple breathing techniques.

3. Positive thinking - Clear your mind of worry and fear with positive thoughts as this will make intuition develop more easily. Attract positive vibes and gut feelings and events are recognizable.

4. Let Go! - Consider what this can mean. If you need to make a big decision, let go of all the baggage that is holding you back and find that place of quiet within yourself first. Let your inner voice guide you as you let go.

5. Eliminate expectations - Don't expect to get the perfect answer, at least not right away. It can take time as your inhibitions are released. A hunch may not be immediately forthcoming so give it the time needed. When it comes, you may be amazed by the answer you get.

6. Trust your initial impressions - Initial impressions are often right on the mark. If something seems to good to be true, it usually is. This is a clear example of intuition.

7. Be Happy! - This as much as anything else will help your intuition. The Science of Getting Rich is influenced by happiness as well as just about everything else. Using intuition to be happy and content will, in turn strengthen intuition. It is a good cycle to keep going.

You can achieve a good deal with intuition if used wisely. It can and has saved many lives. It has also helped make the decision process easier. By developing a strong intuition, you can benefit greater than you would have believed possible.
